The equipment in the DIY garage.

A race shop's tools, on the other side of the door from your car. The lifts, a Hunter alignment rack, a tire machine and a full tool chest are open to members 24/7. The chassis dyno runs on scheduled time, and the welders are by arrangement. Come see it in person; a tour takes about twenty minutes.

Using the equipment

Three rules that keep it working.

✓Book your time
Lifts and the alignment rack can be booked ahead, so the time is yours when you arrive. Anything not booked is open to whoever is in the building. Dyno time is scheduled ahead.
✓Barrier for shared rows
No work on a car in a shared row without a barrier; welding and grinding by arrangement.
✓Ask when you reach your limit
The crew is on the other side of the same wall. Non-member lift time is $25 an hour by reservation, and member services take over where you want them to.
