Spec Racer Ford rental cost
Every line. Nothing hidden.
A spec car is a level field, so we price like one. Here is what an SRF3 Spec Racer Ford rental costs, line by line: transport, tires, fuel, the car itself and our trackside crew, each on its own line so you see exactly what you pay for. Build your weekend below: the number you see is the number we bill from.
The short answer
A typical two-day track weekend runs around $4,500. Race weekends are priced line by line.
Here is the arithmetic for two days at Barber: one of two cars in the trailer, four hours on track over eight sessions, scuffed tires. Transport and prep are charged once per event, so the second day costs less than the first. Change any input below and the number follows.
Agreement by DocuSign · ACH or check, no fee · Credit card +3%. The $6,000 crash-damage deposit is separate, and we hold it while you race with us (section 03).
How B2 Motorsports prices its race car rental and services for the Spec Racer Ford
Six line items. Tires and fuel are estimated, then settled on what you actually use. The figures in purple come straight from the calculator below, so they always match it.
Transport
Transport is priced per round-trip mile from our shop, and the trip is split by the cars aboard. Set the number of cars below and watch your share drop. One charge per trip, never per day.
Prep
Getting the car ready for your event: alignment, nut and bolt, wash, driver fitment and loading the trailer. One flat charge per event, however long the weekend runs.
Trackside Support
We set up and break down, bring the snacks and drinks, fuel the cars, and are in pit lane to respond to unknowns and during session changes as you progress. Coaching across the day is part of it.
Tires
The SRF3 runs a spec Hoosier race tire, and we can get as many as 20 heat cycles out of a set. One session is one heat cycle, and the early cycles are worth the most, so new costs more than scuffed. We also have Toyo R888R tires: harder, slightly treaded, and better for track days and non-SCCA events. Pricing is based on Hoosiers.
Fuel
We buy the same fuel from the same station every time, and it has been tested on our dyno for power and consistency. We use these estimates to make sure we have enough fuel for our drivers all weekend, and we price for what we buy and use.
Car Rental
The SRF3 chassis, prepped and ready, charged by the hour of track time, not by the day you are parked.
Build your estimate
Live, line by line. Tires and fuel settle on what you actually use.
Estimate ▸ live
This is an estimate, not a final invoice. Tires and fuel settle on actual usage. We confirm car fit before quoting. Large drivers are no problem: we've fit 6'7" and 275 lb.
Deposit, payment & next steps
Deposit, contract & payment
Four steps
- Pick a weekend. Choose it above and register with the organizer.
- Sign up with B2. A short driver registration form and the DocuSign agreement.
- Pay before the event. Rental and deposit; 14-day cancellation policy.
- Race. We walk you through the car step by step. Our Intro to the Spec Racer binder is there if you want to read ahead.
That is the number. Book this weekend.
The calculator is not a teaser: it is the same arithmetic we bill from, line by line. Tires and fuel settle on what you actually use, and the only other things that change it are a multi-race discount or bringing your own car. Own a Spec Racer? Flip "Whose car?" above: same crew, same lines, same rates, no car rental. Elsewhere you call or fill in a form and wait for a price that moves with the days and the towing distance. Here you see it first.
Look for the white truck, trailer, and canopy at the track.
